Which plugins are essential for you?

There are so many plugins available for BH image and unfortunately there is no explanation of what every plugin does unless you install it.
I don't think there is a thread explaining the meaning of every plugin here, except for a few.

So, I was wondering which plugins you think most useful and essential.

Personally I am looking for a plugin that could edit my recordings (TS files). Basically cut and copy and maybe convert them to mkv since that's the format I basically use on my PC.
I don't mind even if you could propose me a PC program to do the job.(cut/copy, convert and compress TS files to mkv). Is it possible to play back mkvs to my VU solo?

The plugins I have installed and found very useful so far is:
Subtitle player by DD
Cool TV guide
Enhanced movie center (to play back my recordings)
Birtrate viewer

Is it such a difficult question I've asked?
I guess there must be a plugin to edit recordings (TS files) among all these plugins.
I really doubt it nobody has ever thought of it.

you can cut recorded files on stb with CutListEditor or MovieCut
look under: menu/setup/software management/manage extensions/recordings
then move your ts files to pc and convert them to mkv with handbrake

Where do I find and launch now the obove programs? They are not in the plugin list

open recorded files
move down to file you want to cut
press menu button and select cutlist editor
now you're in editing mode
ok button bring up new menu (start cut before or after)
on the end press exit button and EXECUTE CUTS
little hint: you can skip till wanted position with 3,6,9,> buttons
