Wireless TL WN321G and Vu+ solo... [rt2870 - rt3070]

Having huge problems I just can't get the box to recognise this on the two latest black hole images! Would I be better off using blackhole 1.4.1?? Or any other advice on getting it working?

Your device uses RT73 driver and should be supported by drivers included into BH images.
If you use other USB device connected to box like Hard Disks, Pendrive or DVB device please disconnect all except the wifi adapter and verify if works properly.

If you can get connect to Internet please use an externally powered USB hub to avoid recognize problem because the problem can be the excessive power required by your devices connected.

So I just flash a black hole image set up then turn off put in stick, turn on box and restart? And stick should show? I don't even get a wlan option. Must need extra steps?

You should connect your stick, reboot your box and go into...
Menu -> Configuration -> System -> Network
Here (if your device is correctly recignized) you can see a WLan Option as you can use to configure your wifi connection.

Nope I found only way to even get the option to get the WLan option up is to activate the OPEN VPN through pressing blue then blue again...But then when I click on adapter settings it crashes with green screen saying something about pythonwifi???

I can no way just load up a black hole image stick in usb with your instructions and get it to show...=(( used 1.4.1 1.4.2 and 1.4.4 and 1.4.5)

I have your same wifi adapter and I will make a test.
I will connect only the wifi usb adapter: no other USB devices.

(USB\VID_148F&PID_2070)
(USB\VID_148F&PID_3070)
(USB\VID_148F&PID_3370)

Check IDs of your doungle first.

My device is RT73 version.
Other versions can be used on the next BH image :)

The tests around the driver you need for your wifi stick aren't done when the BH 1.5 image is released. I'm so sorry about this situation.
I've included the driver for next BH 1.5.1 image.

Is the driver for TL-WN321G V4 included in the 1.5.1. In the Lan setup cannot find the stick. The V3 sticks are listed, but not the V4 sticks (VU+ Duo).

Can someone help me please. I have tl-wn321g v4.1 usb and i am trying to crack wep using backtrack 3 on windows but my device is not detected . how can i turn it into monitor mode . I really need help as I am new to ubuntu .
