INFO: This Image has the latest drivers but CAN be installed in OpenMultiboot. The image does not need to be installed in flash.

This latest version of the Black Hole series has been updated and improved for maximum stability and performance.

Please note that of all images Black Hole now has the best epg system:

- Integrated OpenEpg

- Rytec dedicated epg.dat

- New system epg.dat outside.

This last feature offers the possibility to various forums or communities to create their favorite EPG data files and load them into a web space.

Community members can then download it from our servers.

This feature provides other benefits such as:

What happens with these new 3.0.x version in solo4k? I reported problem in old post but no answer about it, when zap into channel with epg data stream, after few seconds it just crash and restart the GUI, in hdd it shows enigma crash but txt is empty..

If someone wnat to test itself good otherwise good as well.

You can update from 3.02 to 3.0.3 ?
If yes think you mast install new image by usb.
Is possible in image made personal backup and next in new image restore he, but he restore basic settings.

Whot you can no losed after update ?

I have tested with Ultimo 4K
The same problem.

there is problem with the Mhw EPG data from this transponder
I asked coder to look at the problem.

Thanks a lot, I'm glad that you recognize this annoying problem, thanks to coders for great BH images.

Would be nice to take a look to these ideas:

- If some menu is on the screen, standby button in remote or webif does not work, so the Autoshutdown does not work ever, BUT, I have tested one iOS app which somehow standby the box even with menu on the screen, would be possible to fix this for future image versions?

- Sometimes the .avi video files do not play correctly, (image plays faster than audio) I think is a codec problem, but those files work perfect in any computer or multimedia hdd (I think the BH images need better multimedia player (even with kodi does not work because launch same player)

- Finally, I did comment this idea time ago, but seems not possible, "add custom recording features", for different qualities SD, HD or 4K, less or more processing, for improve size of the recorded file, I am afraid if the recording is made via hardware then is limited, if can be made via software, maybe some vu+ models could manage that with it's cpu.

Hello,
I have problem flashing latest update(BlackHole-3.0.3-vusolo4k_usb_release_20161227_1d956ae). Tried to flash latest 3.0.3 today and system doesnt boot. Flashing complete screen and theres nothing more. I tried redownload, reflash, using different usb sticks, still nothing. Last image was 3.0.2J. Please help, tuner unusable now!

Sorry, i have found the problem. It was external hdd causing this probem. I have unpluged it, reflashed. Everything good now
