This Image has the latest drivers but CAN be installed in OpenMultiboot. The image does not need to be installed in flash.

This latest version of the Black Hole series has been updated and improved for maximum stability and performance.

Hi. Thanks for fresh firmware. But i found small issue or limitation. If HDD inside receiver connected, impossible install fresh firmware from flash drive(all progress stuck on "Flashing Image" stage), need to open receiver and disconnect HDD for flashing fresh rom. If its not a bug, im not understand why developers set this limitation.

You must have a backup image somewhere on your hdd then, as I have no issue's flashing Ultimo4K and leaving HDD connected.

It is possible that HDD is causing problems
I have one HDD that is doing the same.
I had to replace him.
When the image is installed I can use the HDD but can not make a flash with HDD connected to the box.

Yes on other images like OpenBH or Open Pli its worked. As you can see on this channel receiver has no audio option. For example other 4k channels from 36e/13e/19.2e working without any problems.

Its HDD only with some recorded movies, im not make any backups.

I wonder if this might be related to the fact (reported in another post) I failed installing in multiboot (that resides in the HDD, in my case), because the same happened: the booting screen shows and then the image get stuck on the next screen, "starting GUI". I'll try again, though.

I am not asking about other channels, only the 1 that you have no audio options for.

If this channel does have audio in other images (such as OBH or PLi) can I ask you to check it in Vti or Vu+ official image to see if there is sound with those ?

I do not know. I did not test and usually when I try multiboot I use USB.
I think the problem in some HDDs is to have a great demand for the current at the start of the disc.
Now whether this is due to a HDD failure/aging and I do not know.
This same HDD in some way prevents the flash process.
I have replaced him and I have no problem .

Done. Image OpenBH 4.2 channel Festival 4k working perfect with sound. So problem with no sound only in BH 3.0.7 and earlier firmwares.

Nope im use only BH image. its my favourite firmware. Im checked it only on OBH this channel earlier, and recheck it now for you. Its old problem, we are write about this in this thread. and other man check it on Open PLI image http://www.vuplus-community.net/boa...o-audio-on-stingray-festival-4k-chanel.35532/ I think we are localize issue and trouble not in channel or in hardware limitation, problem in BH firmware. I think some people who receive ntv+ package from 36e can be happy if this bug will be solved.

Yes but for us it is important to know if the BUG is in VU + the original image or only in Black Hole.

As I said, I can't check as I don't get signal at 36°E.

I can not do anything unless you test with either Vu+ image or VTi image and confirm if there is sound or there is no sound with either of those images too.
