MeoBoot is embedded in the image but not configured, so it isn't active.

please stages of black hole's image's installation version 1.7.0 full version via usb memory stick, but in a particular (simple) way and complete details for amateurs and for who bought the "vu uno" device recently and still has its own original image on it and it's for the first time that he wants to install an image.

Extract the file to a USB stick formatted in FAT32, and you will have a paste called "vuplus". Put the USB stick on the front USB port and reboot the box, then follow instructions.

Remove USB stick and reboot box (you have to do it when the message "remove USB and reboot" appears in box display). Then you will see on TV screen the wizard for first settings (language, network settings, etc) with up/down/right/left and ok buttons.

For this upgrade, you can backup your settings and restore them only by Software Manager, you can't use Black Hole Personal Backup.

ok, channel settings are not a big issue, but what about tuner configuration, plugins installed and configured, firmware, tuner drivers, etc. is all gonna be lost after flashing the new image.

If you make a backup by Software Manager, when you restore it you will find again your channel settings and the tuner configuration.
You can include plugins and other kind of files if you use the advanced option of Software Mager, but you have to know exactly wich files you need to include into backup.

Finally, with this image you don't need to download usb tuners drive.
You have only to connect your tuner and restart the Uno.

Message reads "Can not generate passphrase."
I have the original VU Wlan Stick 150
I have a Fritz box 7270 with WPA/WPA2 encryption.
PLI and VTI in Meoboot work without problems.
Do you have an idea what the problem is.

still same problem, using Viaccess and AlphaCrpyt light together Viaccess will not work anymore..
So all the times to watch something that is on the viaccess have to take out the AlphaCrypt module..
Someone knows how to fix that?
