totally frozen.thats why i dont have crashlog.. sorry. now i know why its empty. but the box still has a problem, and i hope somebody to tell me what can i do, is there any fix to repair this issue or i should send back the unit. i had 9 vus in my office so now, and have more 4 new in box this is the first withthis STOPPING problem, i do work with unos becouse its a good unit, but thu ocs has some bug.. any idea?

I thought so, i personally don`t have a solution for your problem.
But at least let vuplus know about your problem.

The only thing you can try is to flash an image from last year like the 1.6.6 to see how that goes.

Guys:
-i reflash the unit with 173- but without attached any HDD or usb. Now i have a record that its plays now 24 hours without stopping. Now im affraid to reattach my storage things- i dont have picons, epg, recordnings.. hmm.. but it works so far.
-I will running it like this one more day. -

I also had some trouble after upgrading from 1.6.x to 1.7.2 first and next identical with 1.7.3 firmware.

What I was experiencing was:
- First some crashing after changing channels. This was diagnosed via this community as an EPG-related problem.
- Next I had also troubles putting the box into deepstandby. It always would crash-dump and restart automatically. Doing it once more immediatly afterwards always worked flawless. Hence I had to shutdown it twice always.

My educated guess was that it was both related to EPG handling on the Internal Hard Disk.
As actions I first disabled (with reboot) and next re-enabled the EPG Cache Backup. This helped a few shutdown times, but it came back.
Next I removed all VU+ related files from the Hard Disk manually and repeated the previous action. It now seems to work as it it should. Working for over a week now.

Pending minor problems with 1.7.3 are (reported by me op 1.7.2 individually):
- HDMI-CEC monopolizes the chosen HDMI port on my Philips TV (even during standby mode).
I do appreciate the work good work on HDMI-CEC. Thanks for that to all persons involved. We are close to perfect support.
- 'TV Galicia' shows frozen image only when this channel is selected. Starting timeshift the images restores immediately. Also reported to occur on other models. very strange.

By the way my favourite skin remains ARMY SMOKE-PRO it is really gorgeous. It is also the fastest in response, much faster than the default skin. Just scroll through a full satellite list, this one keeps up with my remote.

When Vu+ has released latest drivers (2012-02-28) they have been speified a support for some new tuners... called "Dual DVB-S2" but nothing has been publsied. I think the new tuner has two SAT IN connectors... but it's my theory...

I read the same rumor that VU+ is working on a Dual DVB-S2 tuner. This makes perfect sense. With it the UNO becomes the perfect DUO replacement and the Ultimo the perfect competitor for a DM8000. It also matches the message that software development will concentrate on the new processor.

Please understand,
I Work for Official Vu+ Retail in Sweden,
And i got DVB-S2 Twin for Vu+ UNO. Making it the new vu+ duo
i have installed this image, but when i make satellite manual search i cant change Tuner Search at the top from Tuner A to Tuner B
But it works perfect on Vu+ Official Newest Image they sent me!

So guys this is might be a spoiler for some of you, but it's actually coming and i got one for testing!

Oh and if the blackhole developer team wants to make a new black hole version that supports twin ill be glad to help.
btw on the tuner configuration black hole does actually detect Tuner A and Tuner B
but for the searching part i get many crashes

We were aware of the tuners coming out.

But (I atleast) have not seen them yet, and I didn't know they were sending them out pre-fitted in the Uno.

Could you please post here some photos of the dual tuner?
About image support, BH image is built against the Official Vu+ SDK and are BH images are aligned to Vu+ Official releases.
I would like to know if this dual tuner is avaiable to market and what they cost.

Sure, ill post photos on Wednesday because i have 4days vacation,
Unfortunately as said the dual tuner is not on the market right now, i will give you how much they cost in Sweden also on Wednesday.
So photos will come on Wednesday, stay tuned! :)
