Did you kidding,

zaping time at VU UNO and DUO was never as fast as now.
It means that something is wrong with your installation.

Install a clean image without adding plugins etc and using backups
So tell us your results.

Image with the base installation
uses a very little memory and flash.

Check the Blue>> Yellow (System Info)
Such an image with this coding can not have slow zap
on the contrary the fastest so far.

But to hear the other users and their experiences.

Of course, if there are errors in the satellite settings list or xml file
This can cause problems with ZAP
Of course that's another story.
The reason why we have only list upto 80E satellites we use XML file from one of the best authors from Europe.
Solution is to find an adequate list of the region in which is the antenna installation and possibly you need to make a SCAN.
I also often use a list I put with dreamboxedit and I need to make Scan if the list is not current for some channel/s,Or I Search for a new list.

Zap is fast as lightning .Im using SAT settings from @Likra.

based on default BH 1.6.7 skin
but with a different OSD / movie players
you can try if you like
skin has the same speed and performance as the default skin.

Just tried this image. The problem was that I was not able to find channels during sattelite scan. I then tried to copy over the settings from my previous setup (1.6.6) with dreambox edit., but then I got a message saying something about PAT and no data on transponder.

I am using DISEQ 4,8 E Astra and 0,8W Thor.

When i reverted back til 1.6.6 everything is working ok.

2.What happens when you config only one satellite in Tuner configuration
and SCAN ?

Vu+ UNO Firmware Upgrade

Important notice for Vu+ UNO users!
As promised, Vu+ UNO is now on sale from June, 2011.
Vu+ is very thankful for the interest in our new product and we will keep trying to update our products.
There was several reports about scanning problem in specific TP and new firmware is released to fix the problem.
We strongly recommend to upgrade your box if you find a problem in scanning channel(s) with your box.
There are two ways to upgrade your box.
One is using your USB memory stick and the other is upgrading directly from the internet.

Option A) Using USB memory stick.

1. Download firmware binary from the link below.
   
   http://archive.vuplus.com/download/fpga/vuuno/TS_PRO.dat
2. Save the download data file into USB memory stick.
3. Attach USB memory stick to your box and restart. (or restart GUI)
4. Goto FPGA plugin menu.(green button >>FPGA Upgrade)
5. Select the data file in USB memory stick and start 'Upgrade'.
6. Restart your box.

Option B) Upgrade directly from the internet

1. Goto FPGA plugin menu.(green button>>FPGA Upgrade>>Blue button>>TS_PRO.dat>>OK>>Yes>>Wait while the upgrade is complete
2. Restart your box.

If you use the same USB stick to install image


and you have use for FPGA update
Do not forget to format (FAT32) USB stick before using for the image installation.
