Any one else having issue with some choices tickers a endless loop.
If I go to menu>>system >>video improvements
Seconds choice in system menu.
The menu starts to auto scroll up and down endless
Also alot of other menu items tickers this odd behavior.
Using standard skin, and brand new image
Black Hole 3.0.3.HKodi

Also another bug youtube plugin crop down 4 k 2160p videos to HD 1980p

Yes, it happened to me as well but not only with the last version. Previous versions as well. I could only get out of the loop by switch off/on the vu plus

I do not have that on my box and TV (latest BH image Samsung 4K TV)
I tested a few minutes ago.
It is possible that you use in the same time another plugin/some other plugin for the video or your TV loses synchronization ?.

yeb same problem here, have to switch off with the rear switch and switch him back on, had this issue with several boxes duo2 image 3.00, solo4 image 3.0.1 3.0.2 etcK and now with the ultimo4k now with the last image 3.0.4

Does the receiver respond to the remote when this happens?
Is this happening permanently or only sometimes?
Does this happen with other images (original image) ?
Do you use some other video plugin or animation plugin?
Is this happening on one and the same TV?
Did you try to change the HDMI cable or TV?

This does not happen to me on Samsung UHD TV

no I have to switch off the box and restart it.
No its not permantly somethimes its happens.
Only with the BH images original or afther a nline update.
No don't use those plugins.
I will try tommorow with a other tv this one is also A Samsung , and wil try a other HDMI cable.
But i guess its only when you scroll fast true the menu's

I know its strange, now i have changed the HDMI cable and see what it gives the next day's

I have a similar problem too. when i hit menu and scrolling down to Timer, then it stops and after a couple of seconds the selection jumps between timer and information. it does not respond to commands when this happens and it never goes away, i let it sit for about 3 hours. i have to VERY long press power button on remote or use the switch in the back.
The very strange thing it only happens when im on certain channels. NRK1, NRK2, NRK3 (all Norwegian HD) and BBC Brit HD is the one i have had this problem. on every other channel it works great, it also seems like it only happens when the selector hits Timer or information, when the selector lands on Timer and Information, i dont have to hit OK.
I use a Logitech Harmony 900 remote, but it happens with the normal remote too, so its not that, such a strange bug
I dont have the problem in the video improvments as zadow has, just tested.

PS: I can take a video to show the problem if anyone needs a better explanation.

EDIT: This has happened on all BH firmwares since i bought it in late January, i installed BH the same day i got it. Cant remember the exact firmware number, but it was 3.0.3 something.i now use 3.0.4A

It's pretty clear to me , and it explains what I suspected,
because it never happens to me.

Of course just my opinion,

It has nothing to do with the Menu
but with the channels you are watching and the way you watching at those channels.
Do you have this problem when you are on FTA channels, I think not.
But there is no discussion on this forum , because it violating the the rules of this forum.

I have a subscription from Canal Digital Norway. and for example TV2 Norway works great. I made a video. It only happens on those channels.
On the video i started at TV2, works as i should, then i switch over to NRK1, froze at once.

EDIT: Both channels are Canal Digital subscriptions.

Unfortunately, if you use emulator with your card
then we can not discuss this problem,
it is against the rules of our forum
but it is clear that if you freeze the image/menu
only on some channels
that it is a problem with decoding that channel
especially if this does not happen on FTA channels.

Im not sure i should post this. If it should break the rules please edit as you see fit.
But i feel like i need to explain. The freezing is not for the picture or the box itself. the picture and sound continues like nothing has happened. its only the menu that freeze. if you see my video you can see i can restart the box by very long pressing the power button on the remote. so the box registers the controller input also.
I updated "youknowwhat" to the latest august release and it did not help.

I dont know how BH funktion under the hood, but to ME it looks like a BH/enigma2 bug not emu

with switching the HDMI cable I have no issues anymore with scrolling in the entire menu.
So here was the solution solved by switching the cable.

Not to be mistaken
here are different problems that are not the same

I think that some caused by bad HDMI cable (loss of HDMI synchronization with TV)
and the other with additions to the image or with bad working remote control (caused in some way,Possible interference near,bad remote,bad battery e.t.c)

The remote problem you describing there is just me trying to balance the phone in the left hand and keeping the remote in the view with the right hand. My brain and/or eyes did not like that Just to elaborate: That was take 7 and BY FAR the best one
Pretty sure its not a remote issue, it happens on both the original remote and my Logitech 900.
I changed the HDMI cable with a cheap chinese one just because its easy, no difference to report.

When i upgraded from 3.0.3 to 3.0.4 i did a personal backup and restored it, could the problem carry over?

I have exactly the same problem as you Cyclops. (Uno 4K , BH 3.0.4 A, CD Norway)
Did not have that problem with BH 3.0.3.

I told you how to try to trace the problem.
That will surely not go with the backup.

You must install clean image with updates via image download
test without any addons.

Add one by one addon that you use and test
and so on.

As far as the remote is concerned, there are cases with devices around the receiver earlier than with this receiver
such as Plasma TV that has affected the remote work.
Of course this does not have to be the case with you.

Otherwise, I did not know the cause of your problems.
But I emphasize what I use I have never had this problem.

I do not use backups .I have all on my PC .
