Inverto Unicable Quad + Solo2 internal "loop through"

Hello everyone,

I am about to make an investment on the following setup:
1 x Inverto Unicable Quad
1 x Satellite Dish (no motor) (only aiming at HISPASAT 30W)
1 x Vu+ Solo2

Caveats:
. I can only have one coaxial cable from the LnB to the Vu+ Solo2.
. I want to do use both tuners with an internal "loop through" (I don't want to use the "Inverto Splitter" just before the box).
. I want to be able to watch one channel and record a different one at the same time.

Questions:
. Is this possible?
. Can someone give me the configs for the tuners? (I can only find configs for motorised dishes which does not suite me).
. What are the "Unicable Switchs" used for? (I hope I don't need one).

Thanks in advance for the help,
JL

How much boxes do you want to use with your dish?

If you should use only Solo2, a reasonable choice is a Unicable SCR LNB and you reach your objective without problems.

I am planning to use only one VU+ Solo2 and the Inverto Unicable Quad LnB, will my setup be good? Will I need a splitter or a switch?

If your new LNB is an Unicable / SCR you need only one cable connected to your box and you can use both tuners individually.

You need a switch / splitter only if you need to use another box in parallel with Solo2.
