Well it is not only to change the skin but
everything else
for example if you have kids in the house that can have its own universe
while others can be protected with a PIN code.

You can make two or three USB partitions
one for universe , and another for multiboot with MeoBoot
or for picons e.t.c

So all scenarios are possible.

I have make short test with some images
PLI image ver 3.0 not restart after instalation,
PLI 2.1 install OK
all other images I have test install OK.
I have test only image instalations and not all this images.

I have test multiboot with VU ultimo :

PLI 2.1 OK
SIF OK
VIX OK
VTI OK
