Hello Angelofsky1980,

I also have troubles to get my DVT-T stick to work. (It did work under 1.43 with a older usbhelper script).

Dmesg told me the following:

DVB: registering adapter 0 frontend 0 (Afatech AF9013 DVB-T)...
af9015: too much data; cmd:41 len:59
I2C write failed ret:-22 reg:00 len:59

Have you got any clue?

(I've tried single tuner directly connected to the VU Duo, with a powered hub, but no luck yet...)

(My problem is that the tuner does not tune... (During scanning is does not pickup any signal). The USB sticks are working on my notebook!
And I'm using the Avermedia VolarBlack HD A850/HD+ 850+ driver which worked with the older usbhelper script).

I will try my AverMedia Volar Black HD A850 (original stick) and report what happen.

I have tried it on Solo and works correctly (for general info of course).

Hello Angelofsky1980,

I was wondering if it is possible to active the older version of the usbtuner tool (perhaps v0.2.9) so that at least one USB DVB-T tuner can work?

In my case I have a AF9015 chip which is using the tda18218 demodulator.
And this stick has worked with a older version of the usbtuner tool!

Or do you think that this demodulator will not work with future versions of the usbtuner tool?

With the release of BH 1.5 we have completed a big upgrade on DVB USB drivers.
Thanks for your report about TDA18218 demodulator. We will investigate around the problem.

Your AF9015 device use the MXL5007T tuner.
It's very useful if you can restart your box and report the complete dmesg output because I need to know more details in the init of your DVB device.
Thanks

Your device is too new :( the MXL5007T tuner used is too recent (rev 3f) and is not (now) supported by Linux.
I've a similar device with same tuner and chip (MXL5007T and AF9015) but don't work at this time :(
