Vu+ ac3+ support

Hello,

Any chances to see Vu+ ac3+ support ?

Now we can start to use DVB-T tuner on usb but no sound on the HD channel because vu+ don't support ac3+.

On january 2011 Bis tv will use ac3+ too on his HD channel and i think many other channels will use this system in futur, and not only in France.

I hope that Vu+ will feel concerned by this problem.

Yep, this is an old problem and today lot of receiver like DM and VU not yet support it!

I believe this is time some best team to work on because the majority of channels should migrate to AC3+ on next 6 months / 1 year.

Hope VU team will work on it...

dmm also does not support ac3+, thats why, a good hd receiver with ac3+ support will probably beat the others in French market. afaik the ac3 capable hardware can supports also ac3+ , but its a missing codec issue and also ac3+ license that needs to be sorted.
