SSD is not different from HDD, as for its logic is concerned. And 2Tb isn’t such a large disk. So, if it supports 2Tb HDDs, it also supports 2Tb SSDs. If you had asked for 4 or more Tb, it would be different, perhaps.
First of all, thanks for your reply. Actually, I've already bought VU+ Ultimo 4K and would like to install 2TB SSD therein, but basically I need first to make sure that it's supported by Ultimo before I buy it.
SSD is not different from a mechanical disk, a HDD, from a logical point of view. Only its internal structure is different, but the computer and other devices who use them don't know that.
Only some OSs are able to recognize that a disk is a SSD and may enable the TRIM function to avoid the use of the same cells in an untidy way and to keep the content not fragmented. But this is a comepletely different story.
