My 2012 vintage VU+ UNO won't boot.
The red light and fan come on and it just sits there.
I've tried reflashing from USB but the boot sequence won't get far enough to read the USB stick.
I can't telnet to the box as it obviously doen't get far enough to discover a network.
I've read of similar problems with the DUO that is solved by replacing capacitor C807 on the motherboard.
I've opened up my UNO but none of the capacitors is marked C807 - it's a very different board and layout.
All the capacitors look visually OK - no bulging, no leaking.
None of the other components look damaged - no scorching, no broken pins.
Which capacitor is likely to be the equivalent of the DUO's C807?
Do I just bin it and upgrade to a new box? - seems an expensive solution to what is likely to be a sub £2 capacitor.
