i also agree with weak tuners on duo2, i installed another image and the problem went but on blackhole problem persists .
Its either a blackhole problem or the tuners aint as good.

Plug&Play tuners are driven by Vu+ drivers. BH image doesen't do nothing on tuner performances and, I repeat again, if your tuners have some problems, ask your reseller to check it via warranty period.

I'm curios: why you write the tuners are weak? Give me some informations to make direct tests and observations.

what image and version are u using? what speed up installs do you disable? what epg do you use? what tuner setup do u have?
I am giving it one more go tonight then getting the solo2 back out, every b/h image i try since new update cfe is problematic in some way.
Tuners, audio, epg, recording, lagging. list goes on.

from my experience, duo2 tuner is better than original Dreambox 500HD tuner (compared with weak signal from same TP)

I'm not a fan of BlindScan and I used that feature two times but I don't remember if I've the SCR/Unicable connection or the LNB Legacy output during my tests.

I'd appreciate it if you gave it a try. My new Inverto Unicable won't blind scan and I don't know if it's a VU+ or LNB problem.
I'd tempted to continue using it anyway as it's so much better than my previous Inverto Black Ultra quad.

I am wondering whether anyone knows if there has been any progress on the weak tuner issue. I changed my icecrypt 2000 box for a VU+ DUO 2 a few months ago and immediatly noticed the services with lost signal and unavailable channels had increased dramatically.
I changed the single "combined tuner" for 2 separate tuners with no noticeable effect, I changed the LNB for a new Optima Quad Black and redid the dish and head alignment. Still I cant get back to the signal reliability of my old Icecrypt system or of my freesat Humax box.
Basically the tuners (or some other part of the box) in the VU are the poorest of the set. It is sad because the system itself is pretty good and provides lots of good services just sad that one of the good services isn't satellite reception.
If there are any technical comparison details I can provide (please note the icecrypt box is broken so I only have the freeset box to compare now) that would get this fixed then I am happy to do so but I dont want to enter into lots of discussions about LNBs etc since as far as I am concerned I have two (previously three) systems connected to the same LNB with the VU+ DUO giving the worst signal performance.

I wish I had read this before I bought this expensive tuner. I have a weak signal but my zgemma H2S worked fine, with the VU+DUO2 there are several channels I can no longer receive. I doubt this is a resolvable prolem unless the tuner module is redesigned which I guess is unlikely anyone want to make an offer for this receiver, barely used

We do not allow sales on this board.

We not not allow talk of clone receivers either.

I noticed on page 1 of the OP's photo's of his setup the LNB is directly facing down i would have a little play with the Skew adjustment of the LNB to see if anymore signal could be obtained

worth a try

apologies, it's not for sale I can return it to the supplier apparently, I'd much rather solve the problem though as it has so much potential. And Evo I didn't know the zgemma H2S was a clone, it came direct from them so a bit puzzled by your remark

I think , that you may try to manually change frequency of transponder +- 4 Mhz , i once solve similar problem on Astra 2.
