Agreed & have now done. Ebay seller sold a lot of boxes and had feedback in the hundreds so thought was in safe hands.

i have same isssue box is geniune 100% just stuck on 2.0.7 image no backversion work no newest version work some one wrote me this kindly see this note
So to fix the "HW Error" that means that the FPGA Security chip wasn't upgraded to the latest software, you would have most probably to flash an image from beggining of 2014 (and/or Bootloader) that will upgrade your FPGA chip.

I do not understand. We do not have clone boxes to make comparison.
I do not believe some admin has a clone box to make a better comparison than you do.
There have been many photos on many forums.
There are only two possibilities
you have an original box that is defective
or you have clone box.
For clone box no support here.
If you think the original and the FPGA upgrade problem try to find old image and try.
If I remember correctly FPGA upgrade was at the end of December 2013 /the beginning of January 2014.
Search internet and forums.
