Well let me rephrase my statement,
It's very buggy on my setup (VU+Duo), and guess crashes on my machine only.
Also enclosed the logs for inspection by the coder.

Ok ALPA, the coder thinks that the problem are the plugins you added,
so please install a fresh image, make image update form addons panel, don't add plugins and check if you have crashes.

Thanks for the great image, guys. I have only one issue - my clock didn't change, no matter what time zone I choose. Is it something on my side or it's a bug?

No bug with clock time.
Clock Time is updated from SAT transponders
Shut the box OFF
on the transponder for which you know have a good clock time
again SWITCH BOX ON

Great work guys and thx im impressed totally of the huge change and especially the long w8ted OTA update is the best addition of all.
1 question though.. it has meoboot in it? sorry for asking i just wanna know if with a reboot i can startup with 1.7.9 which is in my usb stick.

Well, as it seems you get punished by the moderators if you suggest that the all new shiny image may have bugs or that it may crash, I will just say that the Autoresolution plugin installed from the BH feeds is a bit strange. The options on selecting the resolution no longer are the usual 576i, 576p, 720p and so on, but 1,4,5,7. I don't understand what thy might mean. Anyway, if I try to select one of these meaningless options and activate the plugin, the image writes a lot of small text on a nice green background...

I think some small problems are to be expected, this is a massive update and no doubt took ages to prepare. Testing all usage cases on a project of this size is going to be pretty hard work.

I think the admins are doing a great job in resolving problems as quickly as they are, its way more than i would have expected.

If there are issues lets get them sorted so we have the best system out there!

The Autotimer (from BH Addon Server) does not seem to work either. In preview it shows what it would create, but when I hit save when exiting the plugin, it does not create any timers.

Depends on what you use for FTP, I use WinSCP and CuteFTP and it is there, you may find that some not so good FTP programs don't show it.
Try looking at var/volatile

Are you using the embedded Autoresolution with BH 2.0.0? My problem is that instead of the normal resolution options 576i, 576p, 720p and 1080i I now have 1,4,5 and 7. If I select any of these meaningless options and activate Autoresolution, I get green screen.

been using DCC v2.96 for sometime, /tmp always shows on all versions uptp 1.7.9 but not seen on this new update?

Yes I use embedded, I saw now reason to download what was already there.
It will be addressed.
