I've configured the tunner A (Configuration = Tuner: loop through to B, B: Normal Tuner Setup)

Now, I wonder if I can be watching a HD channel on TV and another HD channel in my computer via xbmc

programmed with blackhole and goes to default channel and no more. No picture nothing.

Can the setting be same as for duo. Tuner A with motor and Tuner B second cable of motorized dish ??
At the end of programming it just says reboot 1-9 no Remove USB and reboot. If the USB is there it keeps on updating

Yes you can use the same settings as the duo.

You can either remove the usb stick or leave it there, the box will reboot anyway after 10 seconds.

It will read the usb stick on boot up, but if you do not press the power button, it will not reflash itself.

Εvo i dont understund why when scan manual hotbird is there this problem,
with vahniball satellites xml all is ok,with reinhard i have problem.
Can you explain this?

It's very very simple.

Providers change transponders quite often, therfore the satellite.xml file needs to be updated when you do a scan, otherwise it will always look at the old transponder, as that is the info written in the xml file.

So in simple terms, vahniball obviously is more upto date then the reinhard xml.

Autoshut down plugin in does what ?? its it same as startup to standby ? Why does it need to Auto shut down

Happy owner of a solo2 here too! Everything is much faster than solo1 !
Lots of questions though...

My external HDD used to store solo1 recordings cannot be mounted on solo2...
Do I have to reformat it? It is recognized but cannot be mounted after restart and multiple trials...

I have single lnbs. Should I connect the cable to 2nd tunner and configure tunner a to loop through B ?
How can I use PIP /PAP or is it not implemented yet? The same goes for transcoding. A guide would be very useful.
Is it possible to watch different channels on different TVs inside the house?

I would also like to ask if there is any difference in choosing 1080p instead of 1080i in satellite channels.
Is it only for playback of recorded 1080p movies?

Is there support for HD audio formats? (DTS master audio and Dolby TrueHD)

Hello i have solo2 with BH lastest img. 1.7.9-3
1) I have a little problem with DVB-T stick i bought with solo pctv e290 DVB-T2 stick solo2 will recongnise but when tuning i get error and tuner cant search.
So i tried another stick Aver TV volar stick A835 and its working OK, but i prefer new E290 DVB-T2 stick is it posible to get it to work??? I read its working on VU+ ultimo...
2)Second prob is when using TRANSCODING on my phone over WIFI or 3G and have usb stick with DVB-T station i get block trancoding until i reset solo2(remotely), When no using dvbt chanel (usb tuner) and playing only DVB-S SD station all work PERFECT!!
Please disable DVB-T channels from usb stick in (TRANSCODING) i will be fine when no stream wil be aviable from USBdvbtstick but after i will change program to dvb-s no more need reset solo2 to work...

Hi just got my solo2 as well, installed lastest BH img. 1.7.9-3.
I'm very pleased with my new box, image quality seems to be better than on old solo, and of course, fast all around speeds.
Buyer of my old vu+ box wanted VTI image pre-installed so I did it for him and was playing with it for a bit since never used VTI before.
Found out that they have this nice option [dvbapp2] allow removing of services from servielist under VTI Setup menu since ver. 4.1.
BH image on old dreambox 7k had this option as well. I understand it was enigma not enigma2. Just wonder can BH team add this to BH images?

Have one question. I had a DM800 and a DM500. The cable coming down from the LNB was connected to LNB In of the DM800 and from the LNB Out of the DM800 I had another small loop cable connected to LNB In of my DM500 (they are next to each other)
How can I configure Solo2 to be able to connect it with DM500?

You can't, as the Solo2 does not have an lnb out.
