Because the 2.0.8 it's a new release. The online update is valid (and enabled) only for intermediate versions into a release (2.0.7 to 2.0.7.1 and so on)

i wounded this image take 3 mints to boot its just slow when i backup my files.

Thanks for 208... I downloaded and cannot get the Duo2 to update from 207.3. Did the usual copy Vuplus folder to my trusty Kingston usb stick root, inserted in front panel and after cold reboot the receiver bypasses the usb stick. Tried both rear ports with same results. Tried five other name brand usb sticks with same results. Some usb sticks have a led and they indicate that there is activity when the receiver is booted.

Your input would certainly be very much appreciated.

I never use Kingston for flash images.
Use older slower USB sticks.

Probably that you have yet another USB stick at home older one no name 2 to 4 Gb

but you have to push front button and disconnect all other USB sticks/devices etc

Thanks Matrix10, just tried again and it worked... still using the old Kingston and inserted in rear top port. Go figure... gremlins.

How do you think to edit hundreds if not thousands of channels
without computer editing . With your remote ??

To do this you need a whole day

But you can delete/remove ,move channels >>> press Menu button when you're in the channel list
