Can you please demonstrate this fault, preferably scientifically, if possible with a youtube video.
First show the dish/LNB, pointing at 88E.
Show which image you have installed.
Next show that your VU+ tuner is set up correctly, in the menu, or list its settings.
Next go into the menu, Setup, Service Searching, manual Scan.
Select the satellite, 88E, and enter/select the settings.

Then show the receiver scanning and bringing up no channels found.
Next ensure that these channels haven't been scanned in, and stored as data channels, using dreamboxedit:
http://www.vuplus-community.net/board/threads/dreamboxedit.18975/
Download, and install, the latest version of dreamboxedit.
Set up a folder, on your PC's desktop, labelled Settings, default name, and location, for dreamboxedit.
Start up dreamboxedit, and click on Tools, Options, and enter your receiver IP address, test IP connection, and save, if working.
Now go to File, Fast FTP download, and download your receivers channel list.
Once done click on the All Satellites box and select ST 2 88E, and show that no channels are stored.
If possible also do this with another Enigma 2 receiver showing that it can find the channels, and store them.
