since I bought an original Solo2 have had problems flashing it and thought was a usb stick problem, so bought another brand going from Transcend 8GB to Kingston 4Gb.
a little better but after several formatting and copying in sequence

Finally reading this board or elswhere I think have found solution:
Formatting the usb memorystick not with the internal Windows application but with a software called " hp usb disk storage format tool " .you can google it and find in several sites
if may help I'm using a very old pc with usb version 1 running xp pro !
another experience: when flashing do not extract the usb stick untill you are presented the bootlogo (don't mind you'll do it later)
P.s. : given the importance of flashing as first necessary fundmental step to enter the BlackHole experience,
I modestly suggest to moderators to give evidence to this step with a sort of sticky affecting us newbie users
