What is new ?​

-Update Solo4K Drivers
-Support fast channel change.
-Update chromiumos and youtubetv.
-Update libvugles2 and directfb​

This latest version of the Black Hole series has been entirely rewritten and improved in the code for maximum stability and performance.

Please note that of all images Black Hole now has the best epg system:

- Integrated OpenEpg

- Rytec dedicated epg.dat

- New system epg.dat outside.

This last feature gives the possibility to various forums or communities to create their favorite EPG data files and load them into a web space.

Community members can then download it from our servers.

This feature provides other benefits such as:

Increase download speed of EPG

Download EPG from any channel

Schedule the download of EPG decoder even during standby

Users can customize the providers using Add / Remove function

Main functions of the buttons on the remote

OK button = Skin with simple information

OK button x 2 = Extra Info Skin

Blue button = Black Hole Blue Panel

Blue button and then Red button = Black Hole Epg Panel

About FCC Fast Channel Change plugin/option

With the new option box use all tuners (virtual tuners you can setup max nr in plugin),
and therefore is Zap accelerated .

So far, we have discovered a problem with Timeshift
So if you use timeshift doe not use Fast Channel Change.
Maybe this VU + solve...


My mistake .
That this was a comment for VU solo 4K
I have also to test on Duo2 Perhaps the same ..???

this image cant show dts sound correct from Movie with 4 or 5 different lang sound . bh 2.17 show correctly.

It's a CPU feature, not avaiable for Broadcom CPUs used by Duo2.

There is something strange with openwebif or webinterface. Have same issue cant connect but to other plugin .try vuplus original lmage or openblackhole and see it its the same there

Nice Image like always but when i restart Gui , i get crash log and everytime have to take off box and after that is working normaly, so what to do,. Thnx BH team..

I have the same problem. Just flashed this release on my 1 week old duo2 with a dual DVB-C/T receiver and end up in a green-screen loop once the install has completed and I try to select one of the channels that I want to watch.
Attached is a couple of log-files... Hope that someone can help me understand why this happens...
