Black Hole Vu+ Solo2 2.0.3 Hyperspace

Since upgrading Solo2 to Hyperspace I've noticed the following:-

1. When I go to Media Player, sometimes the Receiver gets stuck for many minutes displaying the Spinner.
Then I either have to wait or disconnect from Mains after which the Media Player connects instantly as before.

2. Before upgrading to Hyperspace I had some Images on Meoboot all working normally.
Now, for instance, if I use the SDG Image Downloader (from BH Addons) the downloaded file does not find its way into /media/usb/MbootUpload as previously but to /media/usb where of course it is then not found by Meoboot Plugin.

3. Also about Meoboot, previously the installed Meoboot Images instantly recognized the A867 DTT USB stick straight from the BH Flash Image.
Now with Hyperspace I've already tried two differnet Images on Meoboot namely Vix and Openspa but both of them don't show any Tuner C (A867DTT).

Any suggestions?

Hi @paolino. Thanks for trying to help me :)

Well, no. I didnt tried any subtitle player/plugin. I can say which plugins I have on my Solo2:

- LCD4Linux
- FontMagnifier (downloaded from BH server) - I had this subtitle problem before and after using FontMagnifier, then I suppose there's nothing related with this.
- using HDGlass skin. Could be this the problem?? Because I've tried with original BH skin when I installed BH first time and was the same problem with subtitles.

If you can, please try to run something there. I dont know what can I do more and I'm sure I'm doing something wrong here for sure.

Problem No 2 has been solved.
I deleted the Plugin and re-installed it again and now works OK .
Other two problems remain the same.

This one goes to angel of sky hey my friend :) one thing i do miss on the vu+ models is that the display scroll the whole contents so like if you go to at tv channel with long name and also shows the title like program information or movie title that is being showning also could be usefull on the media player, my big sister has and old and i mean and old sat reciver it does the trick it scrolls the contents text all time, ofcourse on the vu+ it should be something you can turn on or off it you want it or not. could this be implemented in furture releases could be very nice to have. í'am sorry of this is the wrong place to post it. please guide if so?

Remove your HDGlass (I used it only for download picons, is agressive to BH), install some BH skin and try from BH Download Manager (green > yellow ...) Subtitle Player DDamir. I repeat I can't try, but should work.

I'll try again without HDGlass. But I remember (again) I've tried when I did a clean install with original BH skin and without any plugin and still went the same problem.

I dont have that issue @Wendy.
Your other two issues I cant say anything because I dont use Meoboot.

The problem with DTT sticks is caused by new kernel. The images you have in meoboot still have kernel 3.3.6 and drivers have been developed for this kernel. So don't work with kernel 3.3.8.

I think this is the problem.

I've tried Subtitle Player DDamir, but only works for TV channels, not for Media Player. Anyway, seems nice for TV channels too :)
Still looking my problem with subtitles...

LOL!
My Solo2 w/BH 2.0.3 works great with DVB-T USB sticks.
If someone has problems, open a thread into the corresponding area of this Board.

I have explained bad. I said that USB sticks don't work in meoboot firms with kernel 3.3.6. In BH 2.0.3 work very very well. And I'm only talking about my stick.

Yea, sergiri just said have issues when using new kernel on flash and other image's (with older kernel) using meo boot :)

@angelofsky, about my subtitle problem, no clue?

Do BH 2.0.3 has ability to forward (sound) Volume key pressings to my TV through HDMI? I had this options in Open-PLi image, but I didn't find it in HDMI-CEC plugin :(
Do BH 2.0.3 has ability to set TV sound volume to preset (configurable) level after returning from standby?

I think YES. Look into HDMI-CEC plugin around "use TV remote" or similar one if that option solve your issue

1.This can happen if you have a file that is corrupted in movie folder.
2.It is a problem for plugin author .
3.MeoBoot is experimental tool and is not a guarantee everything will work in multiboot images.
Due to possible differences between images.

Hi,
same problem here regarding the receiver stuck when trying to access external hdd, also when rebooting if hdd is connected,
this is not happening on 2.0.2, back to it

Hi
I have problem with USB stick
When i make a format of usb and restart the receiver it is written Starting and nothing happened it stays on Starting
I choose 1 partition and try the 1 option(usb flash memory) file , also the 3rd option (recomended for meoboot) what I'm doing wrong - try already 3 usb stick but with same results

Do not format the USB stick in box. It formats t to extX filesystem which causes hanging of the box on starting. Format it in computer, use FAT32 filesystem and try again.
You can also try to create two partitions on the USB stick - first small (FAT32) and second big extX or whichever fs you need.
